| | The Greenbean Coffee House is one of those places where you feel comfortable, and inspired. As an artist, I enjoy the feeling of just being there and having the ability to create. Both Lisa and Hayden have given us a chance to share a dream with the community of Seattle; for that, we will be eternally grateful. |

| | After moving from Tulsa to Seattle, we had little time to think of a film festival, much less achieve that realization. As a result of that limited time frame, we had only a few new films, and what occured was a retrospect of past films. This is our first year of showing brand new films in Seattle. Although the competition aspect is still missing, the films presented are both beautiful and sharp. We are dedicated to the overlooked, and the unseen. |

| When I first saw John Morse, it was unfortunately the only time, thus far. Fae and I attended the open mic at Green Bean earlier in the year. There was John, with this somber and enchanting acoustic songwork; his cover of "Dear Prudence" was unlike anything I had ever heard! I am proud to have someone like John aboard the Festival this year, in fact, I am honoured! | |

 | I learned of this band through Fae. One of her coworkers, Erin Dodge, belonged to the band Tragedy Averted. The remaining members of that band restructured themselves into the trio, Static on Trial. Playing an acoustic set following Mr. John Morse, they bring a new flavour of original music to this year's event. I always try to add new colours to the mix, keeping an open eye to all the possibilities; Static on Trial brings a more modern rock, indie sound to the Blue November MicroFilmFest. |

| Fae has always lent her soul, spirit and support to everything I do, and she has believed in this Festival since its inception. She contributes her art, graphic and web design, time and her music, but she is more than that; she is the Co-Director, my Wife and my friend, and my Muse. | |

I have a new favorite band, and that band is Ghostship! I discovered them on MySpace, developed a dialogue, and soon they were on the bill as one of our musical performances. Combining a unique approach to percussion and the blues, Ghostship creates music in a raw, bohemian rock sense that inspires my confidence in the music scence once again. Truly a couple of great guys worth having a pint with! | | |
|
| In an effort to broaden the presence of artistic works at the Festival, and to once again achieve the level of artisitc presence at past events, we have met Anna. She is a presence in both fashion and art, and she is a resident and a student in Seattle. She will be discussing her work on November 2nd. Other artists are merging, and their contributions will lay the groundwork for the future. | |

| This journey is a road to the freedom from the ordinary and the mundane. We seek to better ourselves through the creation and exhibition of art, in all forms. As people, we are defined by our arts and our culture, and the expression thereof. |
